1.Brain

The brain is one of the most complex and magnificent organs inour body.
It gives us awareness of ourselves and our environment, processing a constant stream of sensory data. Our muscle movements, the secretions of our glands,  our breathing and internal temperature are all controlled by the brain .Our brain is responsible for every creative thought, feeling, and plan. The memory of every event in our lives is recorded by the neurons in the brain.

brainIt is made up of more than 100 billion nerves that communicate in trillions of connections called synapses. The brain is surrounded by a layer of tissue called the meninges. The skull protect the brain from external injury.

The right side of your heart receives blood from the body and pumps it to the lungs. The left side of the heart does the exact opposite: It receives blood from the lungs and pumps it out to the body. How does the heart beat? Before each beat, your heart fills with blood. Then its muscle contracts to squirt the blood along. When the heart contracts, it squeezes — try squeezing your hand into a fist. That’s sort of like what your heart does so it can squirt out the blood. Your heart does this all day and all night, all the time.

3..LUNGS       (DDC NO for Lung is

These are a pair of large, spongy organs optimized for gas exchange between our blood and the air. The lungs provide us with that vital oxygen  our bodies require  to survive, while also removing carbon dioxide before it can reach hazardous levels.

lung

Our lungs are in the chest, and they are so large that they take up most of the space . The  two lungs aren’t the same size the way your eyes or nostrils are. Instead, the lung on the left side of your body is a bit smaller than the lung on the right. This extra space on the left leaves room for your heart.

Your lungs are protected by your rib cage, which is made up of 12 sets of ribs. These ribs are connected to your spine in your back and go around your lungs to keep them safe. Beneath the lungs is the diaphram, a dome-shaped muscle that works with your lungs to allow you to inhale and exhale air.

You can’t see your lungs, but it’s easy to feel them in action: Put your hands on your chest and breathe in very deeply. You will feel your chest getting slightly bigger. Now breathe out the air, and feel your chest return to its regular size. You’ve just felt the power of your lungs!

4. LIVER

The liver is the second largest organ, that sits on the right side of the belly. It  is  meaty and weighs 3 pounds . Liver is reddish-brown in color and feels rubbery to the touch. It is protected by the rib cage and so you cannot feel it.

Two large sections are there for the liver. They are the right and the left lobes. The gallbladder sits under the liver, along with parts of the pancreas and intestines. The liver and these organs work together to digest, absorb, and process food.

liverThe liver’s main job is to filter the blood coming from the digestive tract, before passing it to the rest of the body. It also detoxifies chemicals and metabolizes drugs. while it detoxifies the liver secretes bile that ends up back in the intestines. The liver also makes proteins which helps for blood clotting etc. These functions make the liver a vital organ without which the tissues of the body would quickly die from lack of energy and nutrients. It has an incredible capacity for regeneration of dead or damaged tissues.

5.Kidney

The kidneys are  pair of organs located in the back of the abdomen. The left kidney is located slightly more superior than the right kidney due to the larger size of the liver on the right side of the body. The kidneys are bean-shaped The kidneys are bean-shaped and each kidney is about 4 or 5 inches long. The ribs and muscles of the back protect the kidneys from external damage

The main  function is to filter the blood. All the blood in our bodies passes through the kidneys several times a day. The kidneys remove wastes, control the body’s fluid balance, and regulate the balance of electrolytes. During the filtration. urine is produced, which collects in the renal pelvis and from there  flows out of the kidneys and into the  ureters and to the bladder.

6. Blood

Blood is a constantly circulating body fluid that providing necessary nutrients and oxygen to the cells and does waste removal from it. Blood is consists of numerous cells and proteins suspended in it, making blood “thicker” than pure water. Blood is circulated around the body through blood vessels by the pumping action of the heart.Blood is prevented from clotting in the blood vessels by their smoothness, and the finely tuned balance of clotting factors.

Blood accounts for 7% of the human body weight. The average person has about 5 liters of blood. Blood is composed of plasma and several kinds of cells.Other cells include : Red blood cells, which carry oxygen to the tissues, White blood cells, which fight infections
and Platelets,  that help blood to clot. If you are more interested in Hematology(Science of Blood), You can browse on this link.
